MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Kenji Hamashima	Since our North American operations began in 1967, it has been USHIO America, Inc.’s charter to provide customers with unrivaled customer service. With over 4,000 products in our portfolio, from unique specialty light sources for critically important and demanding applications, to general illumination lamps for architectural and task lighting, USHIO has earned worldwide respect as a company that delivers on its promise to meet the world's lighting needs. As we are constantly challenged with extraordinary opportunities to expand our planned growth in North America through integrated system solutions, we continue investing in and improving upon our core lamp technologies and competencies. This can be seen with the addition of our Newberg, OR and Irvine, CA facilities, each of which is fully dedicated to achieving our goals of delivering highly customized products to our customers and/or partners within the numerous niche markets they serve.
It is, of course, our ultimate goal to share in the successes of our partners, enhancing our capabilities and continuing to provide them with the ultimate in service and support. It is with these thoughts in mind that we are once again adapting to our customers’ demands as a solution provider. The addition of our Technical Products Division in Cypress, CA carries on the USHIO tradition of quality and service, while increasing our technical and design capabilities on a systems level, leading the industry to new heights in technological achievement and customer satisfaction.
